The images and notes are being uploaded in realtime by hundreds of people using the iApp-a-Day iPhone program Collage.

Why Are Obscene Images Being Posted?

The short answer: because some people are disgusting. The longer answer: they get through because this is an unmonitored system with no controls. The collage is a reflection of the people who are using it at any given time.
